| RCAN serves roofing contractors in the entire state of Nevada, with two branches located in the north and south. The association acts as a voice for the industry with building officials, government regulators and lawmakers. |
| RCAN was formed in 1999 in the wake of harmful legislation that would have crippled the roofing industry. Successfully battling that legislation, RCAN has since taken on the task of getting OSHA to treat all roofers fairly. |
| RCAN has partnered with Nevada Contractors Insurance to provide a top worker's compensation and general liability insurance plan in the face of escalating insurance cost and diminishing coverage as a result of construction defect lawsuits. |

RCAN has partnered with the Nevada Subcontractors Association to have a greater voice in Carson City and reform the current laws on construction defects. |
